Just a little bit about me.....

I've always loved art-whether it was drawing, painting, ceramics-if I could create it, I loved it. I fell in love with photography as a young child--I had several disposable cameras and loved getting film developed! It was like Christmas morning whenever my mom took me to the store to pick up my photos. Most of the time my photos were blurry and random but that didn't matter to me! It was the memories that counted! My dad also had a love for photography and I think I subconsciously admired his photographs of sunsets around the house. I didn't appreciate it until years later.

In 2003, I graduated from college with a Bachelor's in Fine Art (never ever thought my degree would come in handy-but God knew what He was doing!) and travelled to Italy to paint. Best decision I made that year! I will never forget that trip and the things I learned along the way. If you ever have the chance to go to Europe, do it! I plan to go again and this time bring my camera and document everything!

In 2005, I married my best friend and in 2006 we became parents. Reece is 15, Sofia 12, and Roman 11. They are amazing and keep me on my toes!

Then in 2014, a good friend asked if I would second shoot weddings with her. I was so excited! I taught myself how to shoot in manual mode on a canon rebel t3i--best camera to learn on and my nifty fifty never left my lens. I totally fell in love and finally found that passion I'd been searching for.

Besides my love for photography, coffee + food--Jesus is my Lord + Savior. I wouldn't be where I am at today if it weren't for Him and His grace. I am so thankful for this opportunity to serve my clients and capture life for them.
